When can you start learning?

Once you call or visit us at the store and sign up for the course, a passcode to access the eLearning course will be issued to you by email and you can start learning right away. The PADI Open Water Diver course gives you the background information you need to dive safely and allows you to study at your own pace through an interactive computer / tablet-based program. No classroom sessions required!

While PADI training standards allow us to teach children as young as 10 years of age, we have found that many pre-teens are not ready to participate in group training sessions alongside adults. We still offer training to pre-teens, however, we only do so after an instructor evaluation and in a private class setting. Please stop by or call the store for pricing information.

What scuba gear will you use?

In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator with alternate air source and computer, BCD / buoyancy control device, a tank and weights. Some of the gear will be provided by us, and some of it needs to be provided by you.

Our staff members will be happy to explain everything relating to the course to you in detail when visiting our dive center.
